The Lyme Disese Foundation's Journal of Spirochetal and Tick-borne Diseases (JSTD), founded in 1994, is the only peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to all tick-spread and spirochetal disorders. JSTD is an invaluable and timely research resource to clinicians and researchers. It offers a comprehensive compilation of scientific information whose authors range from the most renowned researchers in the field to clinicians who are publishing for the first time. The JSTD is received by all medical libraries in the United States and by all state/provincial health departments in the U.S. and Canada.

JSTD publishes quarterly reviews and original work about all aspects of spirochetal or tick-borne disorders. Clinical topics may involve all medical disciplines, nursing, and pharmacy, as well as the social, ethical and biological features of such disorders.

Journal guidelines are in accordance with the "Uniform requirements for manuscripts submitted to biomedical journals" and the "International committee of medical journal editors." Reviews of submissions are completed in six weeks. Publication can result within several months of acceptance.
